Sky Sisters Paragliding

Jan 24 - Feb 1, 2026
Piedechinche, Colombia
This all women's paragliding adventure is the culmination of a dream: to bring female pilots together to share the sky and connect through yoga while immersed in the beauty of the Colombian culture and landscape.
We fly together as a family, recognizing that each person’s unique perspective enriches the group as a whole. Paragliding is deeply personal, and we bring that mentality into the adventure, sharing knowledge, airtime, and experience in a supportive and inclusive environment designed to help you on your flying journey. Instrument setup, flight planning, strategy, reading the sky, thermalling, gaggle flying, and cross country are just a few of the areas of focus for growth.
This tour is designed to be as all inclusive and stress free as possible. You can arrive with the peace of mind knowing that all logistics and details are taken care of: simply focus on flying. This trip is perfect for beginner-intermediate pilots ready to accelerate their paragliding progression with a comprehensive approach encompassing mind, body, and skill development.

Flying Site
Piedechinche is situated on the west side of the central Andes cordillera in the Cauca Valley, a short 45-minute drive away from Cali international airport. The nearest town is Santa Elena. Although its slopes are facing west, thermal conditions can begin as early as 10 am. Piedechinche has it all to be a world-class flying site with multiple perfectly maintained take-offs with quick access, a huge beginner-friendly landing place (with landing bar!) and a breathtaking rainforest mountain backdrop. In Piedechinche we can fly from the morning all day long into the sunset! It is a magical place and the perfect flying environment to acclimate and work on our skills by doing local, out-and-return and long one-way flights.

Paragliding Yoga
with
Shelley Fluke
I first discovered yoga in 2012 while recovering from knee surgery and have been a loyal practitioner ever since. After having practiced all over the world while working on yachts throughout my 20s, I landed in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and began my teacher training program in 2020 at the Amalam School of Yoga. I went into this experience with a primary goal of deepening and enriching my own practice, not intending to teach, but throughout the journey, I fell in love with teaching and guiding other practitioners.
I began flying both paragliders and hang gliders in 2020 as well, so yoga and flying have always felt deeply connected to me. Both require us to know and trust ourselves, to be fully present, and to move with intention and awareness. By practicing yoga, we cultivate the mental and physical preparedness that flying demands.
I look forward to developing a shared sense of strength and stillness together on our mats that we can bring directly to the air. We’ll engage in vinyasa-based, Iyengar-influenced sequences with intention at the heart of every movement, while also leaving room for breathwork and experimentation. To me, yoga can be grounding and focused but also fun and playful, just like flying!
